Weingut Schmidt

The Schmitt winery in Hattenau impresses right at the entrance to the site: the giant wooden building is a typical example of modern architecture in the Lake Constance region and almost looks like a spaceship that has landed on the green meadows. Inside this new building you will find the restaurant Pinot as well as the wine shop. Here you can buy above all fresh white wines and elegant Burgundy varieties from barrique barrels and all this with wonderfully playful labels. In the neighbouring village there is the traditional old farmhouse with the Rädele inn and the wine cellar. Special events are always held here, which you can find on the website.
