The Grand Hotel Oriente is a highlight in the rather modest range of good hotels in Naples. The rooms are modern and classically furnished with carpeting without being musty. The building is not exactly an architectural gem, but it is located in a top location that could not be better and from where everything is within walking distance. But the best thing is the big terrace, it is nicely made and invites you to enjoy the view over the hills and the sea with Vesuvius. So exactly the view you want to have in the morning while enjoying a crispy sfogliatelle with ricotta and a cappuccino. The team is strikingly open and charming, so all in all a good choice.
