Il Borghetto – Vacanze nei Mulini

Around old wheat and rice mills lies the very special village of Borghetto. The beautiful combination of imposing old architecture and rushing water was formed in the 14th century on the river Mincio. The place also became famous through the film “Sehnsucht” by Luchino Visconti, which was partly shot here. Some of the mills below the Visconti bridge are still in operation.
You can even spend the night in one of the mills built in 1400 and surrounded by water. The simple rooms are like small apartments with a fully equipped kitchen.
