In the early 1990s the Royal Hospital was restored to house this museum of modern art. In its minimalist interior works from Irish and international contemporary artists are represented. The museum still building up its own collection of works and there are always one or two temporary exhibitions to be seen. You can also stroll around the extensive parks and courtyard, as well as the stables, which have been converted into artis’s studios.
