Even from a distance, visitors can guess what to expect at the Sylt coffee roastery. The intense aroma of freshly roasted coffee wafts over the Rantum Basin. The machines run all day in the middle of the restaurant. It is loud and cramped, and many visitors celebrate here. It used to be a warehouse until Christian Appel, who was born in Westerland, converted it into his Eldorado. It is a café and shop in one, with 9 types of espresso and 7 different coffees that can be bought and, of course, sampled on the premises. Together with a good piece of cake, it makes for an ideal excursion. The garden is a particularly cosy place to sit.
