A visit to the Bio-Gasthof should definitely be combined with a canoe trip through the Spreewald. The tavern is located on a main arm of the Spree at the edge of Burg and you can drive up directly with your boat. Not only is everything fresh and homemade at the Gasthof, but the ingredients are also grown in the courtyard garden. Topanimbur for puree for example or herbs and blossoms for a salad and the Spreewald classic, consisting of boiled potatoes with raw milk quark and linseed oil, comes naturally also from the own garden.
