This is the bakery of the 21st century. The traditional bakery has consistently taken the step into the modern age and the result proves the makers right: The old café business was completely modernised and the counter was extended by a young, modern café. The assortment in the bakery is outstanding: many traditional baked goods, which were produced in a contemporary way, but not too much spread in many nonsensical baking variants. Of course there are also small dishes – All on point! The bakery is known for its Sacher cake and homemade Knäckebrot. Another speciality is bread made from freshly germinated organic seeds.
Whoever wants to experience all delicacies in the right ambiance, should go to Kostner on a sunny morning, order the breakfast buffet and sit down on the sun terrace. There is a very special atmosphere, a good mixture of tourists and locals.
The Heimat Bäckerei is dedicated to innovation at all levels. A very modern website also offers a shop. So if you have already been supplied on site, you don’t have to do without this quality at home.
