La Degustation

Going out to dinner to La Degustation is not just going out to dinner. It is a unique experience, comparable with going to the opera. The young chef Oldrich Sahajdák mixes old Bohemian cuisine with young, innovative cuisine and has brought the almost forgotten Czech food culture of the past century back to life. The menu offers tongue, which used to be a classic but is not so popular today. But the chef is able to create a dish, which not only convinces through its delicate taste but also through its appetising presentation cut in thin slices. And this is only one of the reasons why you should definitely try everything in La Degustation, even though it might take some courage. The slightly more expensive prices for this culinary experience, which is accompanied by a perfectly chosen wine menu, are more than justified. After more then four hours you will wish this evening would never end – but like all good things it must. The curtain closes and you feel like applauding.
