It’s hard to believe, but behind the legendary institution La Tonnarella there was originally a large tool shed. The location is of course essential – on the beach, or more precisely in the small bay of Conca dei Marini. And the nice thing is, thanks to the hidden location, La Tonnarella is still an insider tip after so many years. The restaurant is now run by the third generation, Umberto’s granddaughters. But fortunately, the family hospitality, the large plates of Spagetthi Vongole, Fritto Misto and cool wine have not changed.
