Whether you like it or not, a stroll through Capdepera usually takes you to the L’Orient Café in the village square and takes a seat at one of the marble tables. L’Orient has been a café and gossip exchange for 46 years. If you want to know what’s going on in the village, just talk to one of the other guests here and watch the hustle and bustle on the small market square. Even if the ambience is not exactly the most beautiful, somehow it is so authentic that it has charm again and lets you immerse into the world of the locals. And those who want to eat something should definitely stick to the tapas, as they are really excellent.
