Where Der Laden used to be known for bolognese and chocolate tart for decades, Lou Lou Tagesbar has now opened, bringing a breath of fresh air to Türkenstraße without losing the character of the place. The look: stainless steel, retro red and Scandi coolness. The atmosphere: relaxed and just like Maxvorstadt. The menu features small, fine dishes with a twist: beef tartare with egg yolk and mustard seeds, char crudo with rhubarb, grilled cabbage or homemade sourdough bread with butter. Accompanied by an Emil Spritz with lychee or a glass of natural wine. Despite the soft opening, Lou Lou is already a meeting place, whether for breakfast, lunch or a late afternoon tart. Well-known, rethought and quite charming.
