Me Cumpari Turiddu is one of Catania’s culinary highlights and stands out from the usual trattorias with its modern yet cosy ambience. And yet Me Cumpari Turiddu attaches great importance to its Sicilian roots – the beautiful tableware is made of Sicilian ceramics and of course, it is cooked exclusively with Sicilian ingredients. The owner, Roberta Capizzi, is particularly concerned that the menu is completely adapted to the season – so the Slow Food philosophy has arrived in Sicily! In the future, guests will also be able to buy selected foods in the restaurant. Incidentally, the ham from Nebrodi and the spaghetti with the small blue “Masculina” fishes are incomparable.
