Since Pablo Picasso spent some of his youth and the beginning of his artistic career in Barcelona, the city probably dedicated this special museum, the Museu Picasso, to him. In good company with many other museums, it is located in the Ribera district in the old town. Several connected Gothic houses are home to a remarkable collection of works by the brilliant Spanish artist – mainly from his earlier creative period. A great place to learn about Picasso’s life!
