A trip up the coast north of San Francisco is not to be missed. A great destination for lunch is Nick’s Cove, just next to the Hog Island Oyster Company, the perfect place for long Sunday lunch. If you are not much for oysters, fish, or crab there is always the excellent burger, which every other guest seems to have on their plate. When before have you had the opportunity to joyfully labor over every limb of these incomprehensibly delicious crabs while enjoying a cool glass of white wine? When in winter the weather is less cooperative, the crackling fire will warm you to the bone. Nick’s Cove also rents rooms and cottages, with just the right rustic allure.
