Nuova Arena

Nuova Arena is a great restaurant to immerse yourself in traditional Milanese and Sardinian cuisine. Patron Giovanni Mele came to Milan as a teenager, grew up in the school of greats like Alfredo Valli and worked in top restaurants until 1982. Since he opened Nuova Arena, it has been a crescendo of satisfaction. The cooker is now in the hands of Milanese chef Riccardo Giusti, who prepares Italian dishes with preferably Sardinian products. In service, Giovannis’ son Nicolò provides wonderful service. Dishes not to be missed: Milanese-style mondeghili, veal magatello in tuna sauce, ossobuco and millefoglie with Chantilly cream.
