Anyone who finds their way here knows that happiness at ØsterGRO is on the roof. A spiral staircase climbs up a vacant car dealership into the Copenhagen skies, and at the top, a dream of a rooftop farm opens up. A romantic scene of twinkling fairy lights, gorgeous flowerbeds stocked with fruit and vegetables and, at the end, hyggelig candlelight glowing from a greenhouse. Here, at a long table decorated with farm flowers, guests take their seats and indulge in culinary delights according to the credo „clean, simple, local“. Most of the food comes from the garden or from producers in the region. It can happen that you have to pinch yourself in between to see if the scenery is really true.
