Named after star designer and restaurant owner Shinichiro Ogata, this four-storey retreat is dedicated to the Japanese art of living. Boutique, tea shop, arts and crafts, bar and restaurant all in one. The tea shop offers 30 different Ogata teas, plus hojicha roasted on site, gyokuro and a rare tea grown in the shade. A little further on, the Wagashi shop invites you to discover a wide selection of Japanese pastries made from rice paste and bean paste, while the L’Atelier opposite offers 200 streamlined items for everyday use, including tableware and minimalist cookware. And for all hungry diners, the walkway to the restaurant awaits, where chef Kazuki Watanabe serves a simple but refined menu inspired by regional Japanese cuisine. Ogata feels like a short trip to Japan!
