The Osteria Napoletana is the Italian living room of the Notting Hill area. People meet here on Sunday evenings to end the weekend in comfort or during the week to indulge in a bit of Neapolitan flair. The waiters greet their guests by name after the second visit and you simply feel at home here. The menu is classic Neapolitan, but don’t miss the starters – Zizzona di Battipaglia, a heavenly mozzarella from Salerno, or la Montanara, small pizzas with tomato sauce, basil and Parmesan. The house speciality is linguine alla Nerano, linguine with fried courgette slices and cheese. If we lived in Notting Hill, Osteria Napoletana would definitely be one of our regulars.
