Behind the Pera Mezze is no one unknown, but the Munich top chef Ali Güngörmüs, who has already made a name for himself with the oriental-inspired Pageou. The Pera Mezza could be described as the hipper, more casual little sister. After all, Pera also means “snack” in Turkish. Things aren’t quite so down to earth here either, not far from Gärtnerplatz, but it is lively and cozy. A dozen delicious and daily changing mezze are waiting in the display case, such as the delicately cooked octopus on a bed of tart wild herb salad. Incidentally, this is also accompanied by a small selection of high-end Lebanese wines from Château Musar. But don’t worry, the wine is not a must; most regulars come here for a quick, delicious lunch, and Pera Mezze is not a place to squat. Nevertheless, ideal for a snack and a nice break.
