The restaurant Santi Taura is a real culinary jewel in the otherwise rather unadorned village Lloseta and without reservation nothing goes here anymore. No wonder, Santi is one of the best chefs on the island and is also very likeable, not to mention his sensational food. The concept is – not a menu, but a single menu consisting of three small starters, one fish and one meat course each and a dessert. Cost: 42 euros. Hard to believe, but it is true and possible because Santi works consistently with the local products of the season. If you can’t get a seat at Santi Taura, try your student Tomeu Lassio, who has settled in the same village and is equally sensational!
