At the Reverie Social Table, the focus is on the long, beautiful communal table made of wood. Here, 18 guests can take a seat and be pampered by the culinary skills of chef Julia Hattingh. Julia’s stations in the past include all kinds of prestigious restaurant addresses, and you can feel and taste that immediately. In the five-course surprise menu, she gives free rein to her creativity and conjures up a unique culinary experience, paired with corresponding wines. But the real highlight of the Reverie Social Table is the idea that guests should get to know each other over dinner. That’s why the rule during the evening is: mobile phones off. A great idea, because here visitors from all over the world mingle with Capetonians.
