In the legendary Sa Foradada the motto is “If you don’t have a boat you have to climb over the fence”. And so it is. If you can’t get over the sea, start at Son Marroig and walk for about 50 minutes along a path that winds its way through countless serpentines, olive groves and impressive rock formations. Once in Pirate Bay, Lidia and her husband Valentin Fernández welcome you with a wood-burning stove and delicious paella. The paella pans steam on the open fire and the view of the royal blue sea is unique anyway. The only disadvantage is the following way back, which goes uphill this time. Small tip: It is best to take swimsuits with you and refresh yourself in the crystal clear bay before the ascent.
