Walk into the Claude Salon in the popular southern quarter of Antwerp and the first thing you’ll think is, “Well isn’t this just cute!” Right behind the door a stuffed peacock keeps watch, the walls the covered in fantastical floral and animal patterned wallpaper, and the floor tiles are as cute as the characteristically shabby-chic furniture is comfortable. It can get quite full at times in the small tea salon, which along with a colorful variety of teas offers a small selection of dishes including sandwiches and salads and at least five different tarts.
