Since 2008, Christian Boros has displayed his private contemporary art collection in the vast, 3000-quare-meter interior of a former World War II bunker whose walls still bear many of the scars of its history. To view the collection you must make a reservation for a tour which begins with a glass of water in the foyer and winds its way through the 4-story labyrinth, pointing out the collection highlights including works by Olafur Eliasson, Kitty Kraus, Thomas Eggerer , Anselm Reyle, and John Bock. The one-and-a-half hour walk-through ends with a cup of clay water, part of Rirkrit Tiravanija’s “Fountain”.
