São Lourenço do Barrocal

São Lourenço do Barrocal is the counterpart to Babylonstoren in South Africa and Soho Farm House in England. That means – if you want to relax for a few days, this is the right place for you. The former farm site has been in family hands for 200 years and now offers not only cottages to stay overnight, but also an excellent Susanne Kaufman Spa and an excellent farm to table restaurant. Many of the products served here, such as olives, grapes and vegetables, are grown on the property itself. The same applies to the wine, which can also be tasted beyond the meal. There are also eight horses, 200 cows and 75 different bird species among the inhabitants of São Lourenço do Barrocal. Farmlife at its best!
