Taxhof

The Taxhof has stood like a rock in the surf for over 360 years on the edge of the Hohe Tauern National Park in the Salzburgerland. To be more precise, it lies on a kind of sun terrace at an altitude of 1000 metres, one can imagine that the view of the Salzach valley and the Tauern chain is gigantic through and through. But not only the view is worth a trip. The Taxhof has created a successful mixture of tradition and design and is also an absolute family affair. Exactly since 1687, the Unterberger family has taken the helm here, from generation to generation. Just as much reliability applies to food and drink in the cosy, sun-drenched restaurant. For the Waldbeernockn, and this is guaranteed, many have travelled from far and wide.
