The tall chestnut-trees cast their shadows over thirsty customers who debate over the best “obatzda” of Munich – an herbal-cheese mix – and fresh pretzels. Not as crowded with booths as other beer gardens, the Taxisgarten still offers all the standards. This is Munich apart from foreigners, because tourists usually don’t come here.
