The Grand Daddy

In the middle of Long Street, the Grand Daddy Hotel is probably the most unusual hotel in Cape Town. Half trailer park, half hotel with the oldest elevator in the world. While the rooms in soft earth tones are rather reserved, the designers have really let off steam on the roof of the four-star hotel, on which seven US trailers are standing. Each caravan has a different theme and the choice ranges from John Lennon nostalgia to children’s rooms.
