Actually you want something like this: A trattoria, with an excellent price-performance ratio, authentic food and a cosy atmosphere. The Trattoria nelle Vigne fulfils all this with ease. But one has to know where the Trattoria is, because to find it by chance in the rather remote corner, one would need more than just a pinch of luck. Those who enter the trattoria are surprised that here, in the desert, there is such a popular, quirky restaurant. Large windows and a bright, friendly interior. The staff is very friendly, affectionate and attentive so that you can just sit back and enjoy the excellent food. As a starter there is for example an extraordinary carpaccio with celery, parmesan and nuts, a giardiniera, sour pickled garden salad with cheese, olives and tuna – very nicely presented in a jar – or anchovies with a nut sauce. Tajarin with anchovies as primo and a crostata courgette as secondo – all delicious and to the point. Above all, one is surprised at the extraordinarily high quality of the dishes at the low prices. And then the whole thing with a “0 km kitchen” – all ingredients come from companies in the immediate vicinity. It’s just fun. One must have been here.
