Trattoria Perilli has been around almost as long as the Testaccio district. It is a simple, slightly darkened trattoria that scores particularly well in winter. Those who fancy the best “tornarelli con crema di carciofi” with artichoke cream should not miss a visit. The quarter is here among itself. You could still work on the lighting, but it also suits the old institution. It is always nice that there are still these historical places in Rome that defy every trend and for which one simply loves Rome, because they guarantee a good local cuisine. The pasta is served here abundantly, in large portions in bowls.
