It is well known that love goes through the stomach – that’s what happened to Ilona Scholl and chef Max Strohe, who have now fulfilled their dream of their own restaurant. A true dream team, Max seduces in the kitchen of the Tulus Lotrek with a subtle aroma game and Ilona with her unbeatable charm as hostess. The venue is Kreuzberg, in the beautiful old building of the former Cochon Bourgeois. And as already announced, the culinary arts have it in themselves. The crowning glory is the creamy bed of celery mousse, in which a sous-vide cooked egg yolk nestles together with a glassy cooked scallop, covered with liquid nut butter. And of course the scallops in buttery birch-water-wax-soldersud must also be mentioned. Great cooking, charming service and a romantic ambience!
