The basic idea of full board is quickly explained: Where gibt´s the best pastries? Not at Sacher, but at Grandma’s. The idea of the full board, to have older ladies prepare typical grandma dishes, was born as a pop-up store at the Vienna Design Week in 2012. The concept met with such a positive response that a short time later it opened its doors permanently in the 4th district. In addition to the delicious cakes, warm home cooking such as roast pork or cabbage is also recommended. Everything just like grandma’s, you can’t do anything wrong. Of course, the interior is also reminiscent of the cosy parlour of one’s own grandmother, a colourful collection of furniture, pictures and bells and whistles.
