The Waffelhuis Van Hecke is no mere recommendation, it is an absolute must. Everyone who has tried a waffel here will agree that they are the most delectible in the entire city. After all, they have had more than a hundred years to perfect their waffles. Since they opened in 1905, a time before thermostats, timers, and electricity, they have used the exact same machine. The owner Zorica bakes by instinct and the final product is a testament to this.
