Step into the Xocolateria and you are on historical turf. We’re not kidding. Everything here is old from the floral floor tiles and the wonderfully kitschy furnishings to the food and drink all made from traditional recipes. The house classic is of course the wonderfully thick hot chocolate which is best had along with an Ensaimada –a typical Mallorcan baked good made from sweet, fermented dough. Take a piece of Ensaimada, dip it in the hot chocolate and enjoy! Also try the Cuartos (cookie chips) and the Gato de almendra (almond cake).
