Zash Country Hotel

The Zash Country Hotel is located at the foot of Mount Etna, surrounded by the scents and colours of a 13 hectare orchard, which forms a magnificent natural backdrop between Mount Etna and the sea. Since the 1930s, Zash has been owned by the Maugeri family, who have restored an Etna vineyard. Today, lava stone slabs, vaults and the former wine cellar meet modern design here. Despite the extensive estate, the Zash has only 10 rooms and is just as personal. During the day you can hang out at the pool or in the wonderful gardens and in the evening you can be pampered by the hotel’s own gourmet kitchen. Good to know – even in winter the Zash is a great destination and one of the few hotels that also has an indoor spa – after all, there is snow on Mount Etna!
