Son Grua is a picture-perfect hideaway! Around 50 minutes from Palma airport, you can immerse yourself in a peaceful oasis – a wonderful place to calm down, relax and take in the beauty of Mallorca’s nature. Son Grua is not ‘just any’ finca estate, a very special energy floats through the air here – no wonder, the origins of the estate go back to the Arabisce period, in a former farmhouse where you can still see the aqueduct and the remains of canals that were used to irrigate the cultivated land. A few years ago, the friendly owner Nicolás and his wife took over the property and, with great attention to detail, turned it into what it is today: an oasis of tranquillity. After breakfast in the morning, you can relax by the pool, stroll through the enchanted gardens or indulge in a yoga session. If you want to explore the surrounding area, you should definitely drive to Cap De Formentor, where you will be rewarded with a sensational view. The surrounding towns such as Pollenca, Port Pollenca and Alcudia are also just a stone’s throw away and well worth a visit. Children can stay at Son Grua from the age of 16. By the way: a visit is worthwhile for non-hotel guests as well as lunch and dinner are also available for external visitors and it is definitely a nice experience to have dinner in the shady garden on a warm summer evening.
