Templeton Garden

Earls Court isn’t considered London’s most central patch, and that’s exactly what gives Templeton Garden its calm. Behind a row of white, pillared townhouses lies a garden unlike anything else claimed by a London hotel. The lobby opens straight onto that greenery, with works by the artist Bethany Holmes on the walls and an oak-leaf chandelier by Cox London overhead. The 156 rooms span eight categories, from the simplest single without a minibar to suites with Burlington bathtubs, all held in a warm mid-century palette. Downstairs, Pippin’s cooks British classics including a proper Sunday roast, while the bar Sprout surprises after dark with cocktails like a watermelon-radish margarita. Stay at Templeton Garden and it quickly becomes clear why Earls Court is so unfairly overlooked.
