Room Mate Giulia is one of the latest additions to the Milan boutique hotels. Just a stone’s throw away from Piazza del Duomo and the Vittorio Emanuele Gallery, you can immerse yourself in a mid-century design work of art. Most of the furniture was custom made by Cassina, from time to time there is a piece by Kartell, the fabrics are from Kvadrat and the walls are decorated with works by local artists. The hotel is definitely a successful collaboration between the Spanish architect and designer Patricia Urquilo and the budget-friendly hotel group Room Mate. A perfect place for design lovers who want to live centrally, don’t want to pay horrendous sums, but still don’t want to miss out on a certain design touch.
