In Nice everybody eats socca. It is a salty, peppery corn-based pancake. You can have it plain or with toppings as you like it. Rene Socca is like a beer garden on the street. You won’t find a nicer spot to have a quick, cheap meal in the middle of the old quarter on stools and benches.
