Anyone looking for a relaxed place to stay on Formentera will feel perfectly at home at Can Tres. Eight studio apartments arranged in a circle, each completely private, without views onto neighbouring terraces. Together with a Madrid-based designer, the owner has created a thoughtful little oasis overflowing with Formentera charm: hammocks, outdoor kitchens, terrace swings, sometimes a painting by a local artist hanging above the bed. Playa de Migjorn is just a ten-minute walk away. Homemade breakfasts with fresh juices are served on the wooden terrace by the pool for as long as guests like. A wonderful place to truly slow down — and one that makes the difference between Ibiza and Formentera immediately tangible: that beautiful sense of calm.
