Originally, host João was looking for a summer house for the family, south of Lisbon. Together with the architect Manuel Aires Mateus, he built his purist beach hut in the oasis town of Comporta. After numerous publications in popular architecture magazines and the ensuing rush of friends and strangers, he decided to officially let the house. What luck!
