There are only a few stores left in Lisbon, selling the beautiful fish-cans which are so unique in Portugal. Nowadays the modern family prefers to have fresh or frozen fish, so the cans don’t really have a chance. Here at Conserveira de Lisboa, you still get beautiful tin cans with sardines in tomato sauce, or tuna in oil or in brine. All of them have wonderful traditional labels and are individually wrapped in paper as they are sold.
