East 26

The East 26 is one of our favorites in Sanatnyí. After more than 30 years in Vienna, Josef Mayer – called “Peppo” – and his partner Melanie fell in love with the Mediterranean flair of the island. Peppo’s kitchen does not commit itself to any style and takes the guests on a culinary journey: Spanish squid from the grill, Greek tuna tataki, Peruvian ceviche from the eagle fish and the Styrian salad with panko dough covered chicken strips is a homage to the homeland. The homemade Kurkurma lemonade should also be tried, as Peppo is a great lover of Ayurvedic cuisine. The ambience is just as cosmopolitan and casual, the cosy inner courtyard is the perfect place for a dinner on a warm summer night. The East 26 is an absolute asset for Mallorca, where you can enjoy light, modern cuisine from which to eat here and now. The Pizza Bianca, tastes perfect and in combination with the raw tuna, a dream.
