Far away from the typical landscape of Lake Garda lies the Heller Garden, which, thanks to the sculptures and exotic plants it houses, looks like a fantastic dream world. Between the gigantic ferns, magnolias, edelweiss and the small bamboo forest stand a totem by Keith Haring and various sculptures by Roy Lichtenstein and Joan Mirò. This botanical garden was built by Dr. Arthuro Hruska, the dentist of the last tsar.
Thirty sculptures as well as African, Asian, European, South American and Australian plants find a home in the spacious Gardone-Italia-Heller-Garten. The narrow paths leave no time to linger and lead visitors at short intervals from one sight to the next.
