The Il Ritrovo is an institution in Positano. Already 30 years ago Domenico and Luisella were known for their pasta with beans and mussels and for their Parmigiana the melanzane, a delicious aubergine gratin with chicken and smoked cheese. Today, however, her son, Salvatore Barba, is in charge and manages the restaurant at least as well. The cuisine is still tipica locale and Salvatore is committed to producing as much fish and meat as possible from its own land. You can eat in the cozy, country style dining room or on the terrace that hangs high above Positano on the Montepertuso. A little tip – leave yourself some appetite for the Dolci, speciality of the house is the Frutta Mista Ripiena the Gelato.
