The Istanbul Modern is located right in the city centre on the Bosporus. The industrial area is filled with old mosques, and sits directly at the entrance to the museum Istanbul Modern. The cafe/restaurant offers the highest standards, not only with regards to design but also in terms of cuisine. It exceeds what you would normally expect from a museum’s cafe. This project is led by the daughter of Rasim Ötzkanca, the man who created the famous Borsa. Right after her studies in Boston, she arrived back in to Turkey to skilfully put into practice what she had learnt in America.
