At Jac’s on Bond, it’s see and be seen. When you enter the bar, you not only see a really chic, good-looking and casually cool crowd of people, but also simply a beautiful bar. There is a pool table, but it almost looks decorative. The underground bar in Noho, with its $20 house cocktails, is not a place for a casual round of eight ball. It is, however, a place to start or end a nice evening and an absolute scene. It’s the perfect spot to grab a drink when you have a fancy new pair of shoes to show off. The walls are full of photos of old-school hip-hop artists, there’s all kinds of standing room and a few highly coveted tables that you can reserve. And if you haven’t eaten yet, you should definitely try the bar snacks, the creamy crab dip and the jamón sandwich filled with Basque cheese are particularly good.
