Nestled in the small, picturesque Karoo town of Montagu, Jonkmanshof is a special place that is full of magic and reminiscent of South Africa’s founding era. Despite its modest population, the small farming village offers some of the most majestic mountain scenery. And guests can enjoy this view wonderfully from the listed Cape Dutch-style houses. The farm’s manicured gardens, the scent of citrus flying through the air, the carefully selected antiques and the warm hosts complete this fairytale-like place. The Jonkmanshof consists of two guest houses, each with two spacious suites that can be rented individually or as a whole house. What a wonderful retreat!
