The 700-year-old Papal Palace was converted by a North German couple into a luxurious Hideway and today turns out to be a stylish Hideaway paradise. La Mirande is furnished with colourful fabrics and patterned wallpaper, small golden light switches and paintings that meet in a perfect mix of styles. Decorated everywhere with antiques and homeliness, la mirande conveys a touch of old French bourgeoisie. The rooms are also very individual but all furnished in a stately, noble style and with successful perfection. In the bathrooms there is a variety of Dr. Hauschka products to use in addition to modern, trimmed old fittings, and in the evenings one slips into wonderful linen sheets and can fall asleep comfortably with the view over the Papal Palace. In the morning one looks forward to the rich breakfast, which is served alternatively in the beautiful garden or in the sunny breakfast room.
