Together with the St. Marks Bookshop, this is certainly one of New York’s best-assorted, independent bookshops. Small but nice. This brilliant choice of books is complemented by a similarly good selection of international magazines and a small café. And you might bump into Sophia Coppola, who lives just around the corner and loves dropping-in from time to time.
